Well, I don’t even know where to start because this is creepy and it made me speechless.
We all know there is like a gazillion versions of sex toys out there but a dildo that lets you put urn with ashes of your loved one in? Hey, tomorrow is May 1st and not April 1st. You missed April’s Fools Day for almost one month.
This designer from Netherlands, Mark Sturkenboom, created a special “memory-box” that will ensure your intimacy with your partner will never go away, even when he dies. Or she? Um… that would be even weirder and creepier that it already is. Please, don’t start activating your imagination. I did and it is hurting me.
He named this project “21 Grams” and it is basically a box with a clear dildo and a golden urn in it, an iPhone jack and speakers and a perfume/cologne bottle. To make it even more “intimate,” it comes locked with a golden key so only she has access to the cabinet.
So it goes like this: Your better half dies. You put 21 grams of his ashes in the golden urn and place it in the clear dildo. Then you take your iPhone, place it on the jack and start playing your favorite song. To top it all up, you pour in some of his perfume/cologne and spray it around so you can smell him. Then, when you are all set, when the music is playing and room smells of him, you enjoy yourself.
Oh man, this sounds so weird (and so wrong?). Isn’t this kind of, sort of, a tiny pinch of necrophilia?
